Staff is very friendly. But unfortunately i booked a pedicure in the morning and not the evening. Only in the evening you get Nail technicians. Any other time of the day you get cosmetologists which are not allowed to use clippers on the nails or file your heals. The only thing they are allowed to do is file your nails and apply polish. I know its only 20$. But with what you receive , you are better off doing your polish at home . Not the cosmologists fault, but bad management.

Today I had the pleasure to meet Brooke. What a talented person with an absolutely outstanding dedication to customer service and client care. I had a very relaxing manicure 💅 and fabulous eyebrow wax work shaping, too. I definitely would request Brooke next time. My neighbor had her hair colored and cut by Alexa. My neighbor’s comments about the hair color shade, etc were taken into careful consideration. I know that she felt “heard.” I am very pleased with the ways in which Alexa and others made my neighbor feel valued and special. I can’t wait to return for a facial. This is a highly professional salon. Wella color is used. There are many professional hair care items available for sale. I am not going to want to leave today. Prev: I have been here with my neighbor several times. I called to schedule my neighbor’s next appt this morning and Emma was very helpful, upbeat and kind. I decided to get a mani/pedi when I bring my neighbor.

Staff was friendly and location was clean. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my service. I got a pedicure from a cosmetologist student and they were unable to access the gel polish at the time of my pedicure. It seemed like that was an item that could only be accessed during the day or only by a nail tech (Appointment was in the evening). I settled on getting a regular polish since I was already there and couldn’t get a gel pedicure. By the time I got home, I realized it was smeared already. The polish did not dry until about 2 hours after the appointment due to the second/third coat application occurring so quickly after using a drying spray on the coat.

Many of the students who go here to learn park in the handicapped spots without a placard. When this was brought up to admin they said “nobody here is actually handicapped, so it’s ok.” This is illegal.

I have had such great experiences at Metro Beauty Academy. Mandy did some beautiful highlights on me and Jacqueline gave me an amazing aqua facial. The energy is so positive here. They have highly educated teachers on the salon floor guiding the students to have successful results. I have had services at several Cosmetology schools and this one is top notch! Keep in mind, these are students so consider that some services will take longer than a regular salon. I feel much more confident coming here vs any random salon. The prices are amazing!!!!

I have been going here for many years and cannot recommend them high enough! Mandy provided the best hair conditioning mask treatment and blow out I have ever had. What a blessing she and the entire staff has been! They are kind, attentive, and extremely professional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

What an amazing place. We had 2 services done a root touch up, cut and bangs and girls cut. The students were fantastic the teacher was so attentive. I was very nervous about bangs and the stylist matching my hair color perfectly and my bangs look fantastic. The teachers checked on the students progress. My daughter loved her cut they were so gentle she has a very sensitive head. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Metro.

I’ve been to metro beauty two times now and I am definitely coming back! My first time was a facial which gave me a glow like never before. My second time was a pedicure and scalp treatment my toes and hair looked great for such a low price. The staff is super friendly while keeping it professional. If I could give it 10 stars I would!
